It is an honor to introduce myself as the new Principal of Mullica Township Primary School and to continue serving this extraordinary school community in a new role. I hope this message finds you enjoying the restorative days of winter break and that you and your children are looking forward to beginning a successful second half of the school year in January. As a former Mullica Township resident for 24 years and student at Mullica Township School, I share this community’s deep commitment to nurturing and supporting our children each and every day while providing them with a high-quality learning environment.
The 2025–2026 school year marks my 25th year in education. I spent the majority of my career in the Buena Regional School District, where I served as a third-grade general education teacher and as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) on the Child Study Team. I also worked as an LDTC at Rosa Middle School in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. For the past three and a half years, I have had the privilege of serving the students and district of Mullica Township as the Supervisor of Special Education and Student Services. While I have always felt at home in the classroom and working through a special education lens, I believe the role of elementary principal is where I will find the greatest fulfillment in my life’s work. This position allows me to collaborate closely with teachers on a daily basis while remaining deeply connected to our young learners as they grow and thrive in the classroom.
I believe that students do their best when families and schools work together with clear communication and shared expectations. Building those partnerships helps students feel supported, confident, and ready to learn each day. Our collective efforts play an important role in helping students grow academically and socially. As we move forward, my focus will remain on meeting the needs of all learners through thoughtful instruction, consistent expectations, and open communication with parents and the community. Mullica Township has a well-earned reputation for academic excellence, and I look forward to working together to provide students with a purposeful and challenging educational experience.
In closing, please know that my door is always open. I encourage you to reach out via email or phone, or to stop by at any time. I warmly welcome your conversations, questions, and positive input throughout the year. Let us continue to keep our students at the heart of all that we do. I look forward to celebrating our shared successes during the 2025–2026 school year.
Warm regards,
Janine Gentilini
Principal
